Randi Minetor

Randi Minetor is the author of more than 60 nonfiction books, including six books in the bestselling Death in the Parks series (Lyons Press and Down East Books), about the people who visit America's national parks and eastern mountains and do not live to come home. Her books include Death in Glacier National Park, Death in Zion National Park, Death on Mount Washington, Death on Katahdin, and Death in Acadia; Death in Rocky Mountain National Park arrives in spring 2020.\n\nShe and her husband, photographer Nic Minetor, travel the country photographing birds and finding the best places to see them, and this partnership has produced their books Backyard Birding: A Guide to Attracting and Identifying Birds, The New England Bird Lover's Garden, and their new book, Birding New England (Falcon 2019), with more than 500 color photos of the region's 320 bird species. More regional bird finding guides are in the works.
